!PARISH FAMILY CENSUS: p.25. Date of birth indicated as 1811.

BIRTH: At 3pm in the family house (casa paterna). Parents,

Nicola di Giosia Aspromonte, 25, farmer (contadino), and

Mariafedele Carozza, 25, legitimate wife. Giosia decared the

birth.

PARENTS-BAPTISM: Nicola Aspromonte and Maria Felice Carozza di

Montenero (Monty Nigri).

GODPARENTS: Amadio Porreca and Maria Giuseppa Aspromonte.

MARRIAGE-FIRST: Iloysium Aspromonte and Magdalena di Fabrizio.

MARRIAGE-SECOND: Aloysium.

PARENTS-DEATH: Nicola Aspromonte and Maria Fidele Carozza da

Montenerodomo.

AGE-DEATH: 80. This makes his date of birth 1814. This

conflicts with the information on the Parish Family Census,

birth of 1811, and the date of baptism, 1816.

Since they repeated the name Luigi (i.e., Luigi, then Luigi

Antonio) I initially assumed the earlier died as an infant.

Yet, considering information received from the Parish Family

Census and the Baptismal Record, I have decided the first Luigi

is the one who survived and established two families.

Di Stefano. Two brothers did not marry two sisters because

Angela's father's name was Carmine whereas Maria Antonia's

father's name was Nicola per Family Census.
