He died on 13 MAY 1882. The place is not known.
His wife was Colomba Piccone, who he married on 19 FEB 1859 in Torricella Peligna, Chieti, Italy. Their six known children were Maria Giuseppa (1861-1889), Marziale (1864-1885), Maria (1867-1905), Maria Vincenza (1870-1945), Giosia (1876-1956) and Domenica (1880-1925).

BIRTH: At 7 at night. Parents, Marziale Aspromonte, 27
(difficult to read), farmer (contadino), and Maria Giuseppa Di
Luzio, 21, both living on Strada del Trattore. Baptism on 14
September 1838 noted, but conflicts with the baptismal record
which cites 15 September. Father informed officials of the
birth, but he did not sign the registry because he was
illiterate.
BAPTISM: Name, Donatus. Parents, Martialis Aspromonte and
Maria Joseph di Luzio. Date of 15 September conflict with the
date noted on the birth record of 15 September.
MARRIAGE-CHURCH: Name, Donatum.
NOTE: Donato had 4 daughters and 2 sons. Marziale died young
at the age of 22. Therefore, Giosia was the only one to carry on
the name Aspromonte.
