Antonio was born on 14 MAR 1848 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the son of Costantino D'Amico and Chiara Antonia DeVitis.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Antonietta DiGiandonato, who he married in ABT 1877. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Camilla (1879-?), Costantino (1882-?), Nicola Vincenzo (1885-?), Margherita Bambina (1887-1974) and Chiara Margherita (1894-1984).

His second wife was Maria Giuseppa DiGiandonato. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Bambina (1890-?).
