CONVERSATION WITH ELISABETTA BOZZI AND ROBERTA QUIRICI AT A REST
HOME THE SUMMER OF 1999: Elisabetta Bozzi's father did not want
her to marry Nicola Aspromonte because he came from a poor
family. He said he would cut off her legs (taglia le gambe)
if she did so. She said she didn't care and married him. Nobody
was at the wedding. Nicola's father, Giosia, had a bar on the
main street of Torricella Peligna, Corso Umberto I. He got the
wine (or grapes) form below Gessopalena, a place called
Marcelle.
DEATH:
Questa mattina nonna Elisa ci ha lasciato. Aveva 87 anni e
purtroppo gli ultimi giorni ha
sofferto molto.
Lunedi pomeriggio ci saranno i funerali.Per il resto Sara cresce
e sta bene ed io e
Renato siamo felicissimi di questa bambina che sembra un dono
del cielo!
