Plans are underway for the Carfang Family Reunion, our first since 1999!
On Sunday, July 2, 2006 in Delmont, PA, we will be celebrating the 115th anniversary of Antonio Carfagna and Berardina Martinelli's arrival in the US from Lettopalena, Italy.
Very few families are as close as ours or enjoy traditions like the ones we celebrate. This reunion marks the 50th anniversary of our first family reunion back in 1956. By the 1999 reunion, Antonio and Berardina had 453 descendants and I'm sure there are a lot more to add by now.
Here is a list of nearby hotels that will be convenient for the family reunion. The Delmont hotels are about two miles from the St. John's Hall. The Monroeville hotels are about 12 miles away. We understand that they are likely to fill up for the July 4 weekend. FYI, Carol and Tony Carfang will be at the Delmont Holiday Inn Express.
