The decision our ancestors made to leave Italy and move to America, Australia, and other parts of the world was awesome – it changed forever their lives and ours. And behind each of those decisions is a story of hopes, dreams, fears, struggles and successes that we would like to document.

'Memories' is a collection of stories and photos describing the lives and challenges of our first two generations of ancestors in their new world. We invite you to provide a recollection of memories and any old photographs (especially wedding photos) describing the joys and sorrows that our parents and grandparents faced. We will compile these contributions and make them available on the Lettopalena Project website.
