His wife was Maria Giuseppa Amati. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their eight known children were Giuseppe (c1772-1817), Maria Maddalena (c1777-?), Francesco (c1778-1822), Carmela (c1779-1842), Maddalena (c1780-1830), Fortunata (c1783-1856), Giacinto (c1783-1861) and Gabriela (c1787-?).
