Loreto was born about 1823 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Domenico Tessicini and Diletta Lodovico.
His wife was Carminantonia Felice. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Cesidio (1857-?) and Raffaele (1860-1865).
