Pasquale was born about 1806 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Antonio Trombetta and Anna Lucrezia DiTomaso.
His wife was Grazia Nolfi. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their eight known children were Francesco (1829-1832), Giuseppe (1831-1832), Carmina (1833-?), Filomena (1836-?), Francesco (1840-1842), Maria Giacinta (1843-?), Antonio (1846-1847) and Irene (1851-?).
