Stefano was born on 20 OCT 1864 in Carovilli di Castiglione, the son of Domenico Zarlenga and Apollonia Testa.

He died on 25 OCT 1941 in Denver.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Pasqua Ricci, who he married on 27 SEP 1894 in Carovilli di Castiglione. Their four known children were Mary (1897-1897), Mary Beatrice (1898-1995), Anthony (1901-1967) and Angelo (1904-1992).

His second wife was Maria Piccerella, who he married on 13 MAR 1906 in Denver. Their six known children were Charles (1908-?), Stephen (1910-1928), Silvio Salvatore (1911-?), Rosa Lucille (1913-1988), Elsie Maria (1917-?) and Angel (1919-1919).
