His wife was Sabia Martinelli, who he married on 13 NOV 1836. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Maria Domenica (1837-?), Pietro Martra (1840-?), Almerinda (c1843-1843), Costanza (1844-1849), Giovanni Giuseppe (1848-?), Angela Croce (1851-c1930) and Francesco (1854-<1901).
