Pietro was born about 1801 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Stefano Santilli and Concezia Carducci.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Giuseppa Pace, who he married on 24 APR 1823 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their three known children were Maria Donata (1825-?), Maria Prudente (1827-?) and Maria Liberata (1831-?).
His second wife was Paola Giardino. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Giuseppe (1841-?).
