Mariano was born about 1780 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Saverio Presutti and Cesarea Presutti.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Modesta diLoreto, who he married in ABT 1810. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Luigi (1811-?), Cesarea (1814-1817), Maria Concezia (1817-?), Cesarea (c1818-1818), Maria Carolina (1819-?), Anna Rosa (1821-1824) and Cesidio (1823-1825).

His second wife was Angela Custode d'Andrea, who he married on 20 JAN 1825 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their seven known children were Cesidio (c1826-1826), Giuseppe (1827-?), Salvatore (1828-?), Modesta (1830-?), Cesarea (1831-1833), Maria Loreta (1833-?) and Vincenzo (1842-?).
