Giustianano was born about 1809 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the son of Nicolantonio Pagliari and Rachela DeVitis.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Leonora Camilla Rossetti, who he married on 30 APR 1832. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

His second wife was Lucia Teti. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Luigi Francesco (1837-?), Nicolantonio (1845-?), Vincenzo (1847-1848) and Giacomo (1849-?).
