Luigi was born about 1795 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Filippo Notarandrea and Angela diCioccio.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rosa diBacco, who he married on 21 SEP 1818 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their only known child was Maria Irene (1820-?).

His second wife was Fioralba Cianfaglione, who he married on 17 FEB 1824 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their four known children were Panfilo Antonio (c1825-1826), Maria Gaetana (1827-1827), Rosa (1831-?) and Maria Vincenza (1834-?).
