Giancroce was born about 1746 in Casentino, the son of Angelo Antonio Franciosi but his mother is unknown.

He died on 30 APR 1814 in Casentino.

His wife was Clementina Fata. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Anna Felice Franciosi (c1799-1864), Giacinta Fata (1808-1878) and Berardino Fata (c1810-1860).
