Venanzio was born about 1789 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Nicola Giannitti and Petronella DAmico.
His wife was Maria Rosaria Mastrobiase. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Petronella (1820-1825), Domenicantonio (1824-1824), Concezio (1829-?) and Giuseppina (1832-?).
