Giuseppe was born in 1757 in Fara San Martino, the son of Nicola DiCecco and Cauzauella DiValerio Paglieta.

His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Pasqua (1783-?), Saveris (1784-?), Rosaria (1787-?), Michelangelo (1793-?), Chiarangela (1794-?) and Quvia Paolina (1797-?).
