I have been told that later Filippo Di Cecco changed the spelling of

his name officially to De Cecco as there are now streets in Fara San

Martino & Pescara named after him with the newer spelling of De

Cecco. Filippo is the founder of the DE CECCO pasta factory fouinded

in 1877 & still exporting world wide today.
