Antonio was born on 6 SEP 1875 in Tufara, the son of Francesco Coratolo and Vincenzina DeRosa.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Giovanna DiRenza, who he married on 30 SEP 1897 in Tufara, Italy. Their five known children were Salvatore (1899-?), Vincenza (1902-?), Francesco Autero (1907-?), Luisa (1908-?) and Marco Antonio (1909-1991).

His second wife was Antonietta Toro, who he married in ABT 1913. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Angelina (c1917-?), Concetta (?-?) and Frank Luigi (?-?).
