Nicolantonio was born about 1789 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Vittorino DiCenzo and Rosaria Giannitti.
His wife was Maria Rosaria DiGiulio. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Cesidio Antonio (1814-?), Vittorino Domenico Antonio (1819-1819), Tommaso (1822-?) and Antonio (1830-1837).
