Domenico was born about 1810 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Vincenzo DiCenzo and Maria Diletta Nolfi.
His wife was Teresa LaMarca. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Salvatore (1843-?), Agata (1846-?), Mariantonia (1849-1850), Vincenzo (1852-?), Filomena (1855-1855) and Raffaele (1857-?).
