Marco was born about 1558 in San Nazario, the son of Giovanni Maria Campana but his mother is unknown.

His wife was Margarita Etolo, who he married in ABT 1577 in San Nazario, Vicenza, Italy. Their four known children were Giovanni (1578-?), Giovanni Maria (1585-?), Giacomo (1595-?) and Giacomo (1596/97-?).
