Michele was born about 1782 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Carmina Ritrovati. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Domenico Antonio (1809-1810), Maria Domenica (1811-1812), Francesco Pasquale Venanzzo (1814-1817), Maria (1819-1821), Antonio (1822-1823) and Giovanna (1825-1826).
