Loreto was born about 1804 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Sofia Tedeschi. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Vittoria Maria Filomena (1836-?), Giuseppe Francescantonio (1839-?), Antonio Alfonso Consiglio (1841-1841), Giulio Consiglio Fedele (1845-1845) and Carolina Maria Cristina (1846-?).
