Irene was born about 1785 in Bugnara, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Pasquale DiFiore. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Maria Luisa Antonia (1810-1837), Giuseppe Antonio (1813-?), Vittorino Giovanni Antonio (1816-1817), Venanzio Michele Antonio (1818-1822) and Maria Maddalena (1821-1824).
