Venanzo was born about 1764 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Pasqua Rosa Antolini. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Maria Loreta (c1789-?), Maria Giuseppa (c1792-?), Nunzio (c1795-?), Maddalena (c1796-?) and Venanzo (c1813-?).
