Sabbia was born about 1760 in Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Pietrantonio Merlino, who she married in ABT 1785. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Domenicantonio (c1790-1846), Giuseppe (c1790-1848), Maria Luizia (c1790-1845), Berardino (c1800-1854) and Maria Vincenza (c1802-?).
