March16, 1999 Dear Dan, Thank you for the e-mail. John's health
is holding steady although he is not feeling his best right now.
He is still active and fighting with all he has. We are
checking on some different therapies to see if we can get
better results. Daniela Perino is my cousin on my mother's side
of our family. She lives in Aosta and she sends mail to me in
Italian. I have to have my Mother read them to me and I send
back in English and she has our cousin Maurizo Bovio translate.
Maurizo has come to the USA and visited many times and is coming
again in 2001. My Mother's maiden name is Perino, but is not
related the Mrs. Perino you met here in Durango. Her family is
from Trausella and Aosta. My grandparents migrated from Italy
and settled in Silverton, Co. I really should learn to speak OR
at least read Italian) Yes, we are looking forward to seeing
all of the family again. The date will be here soon. I hope
