Giuseppe was born about 1784 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria Saveria Iacobucci, who he married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Degnamerita Anna Maria (1811-?), Domenico Antonio (1821-1821) and Maria Rosaria (1823-?).
